In modern cities advertisements are something of people’s constant companion. There are banners watching us from any building, telling us about shops, products and stuff customers just must buy. In Gdańsk, Poland, they started to control outdoor advertising and that’s what they’ve got

According to Mad White, during 2 years they needed to remove advertisement images set until April 2, 2018. All commercials and billboards that had been operating in the city must have been removed. As a result, about 90% of separate banners and a large number of advertisements on building facades disappeared.
The end of the two-year period of the fighting against annoying ads came in the time of Covid-19. That is the reason why some banners haven’t been taken off. However, during the 2 years, Gdańsk has been notable transformed.
